Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Over the next seven weeks, I invite you to explore with me fifty things that are true if Jesus, indeed, “rose from the dead”. This series has several changes from last year:
All of this will take us from Resurrection Day (April 20) to Ascension Day (May 29) and then to Pentecost (June 8) with no gaps. You will receive daily emails, starting on Saturday, April 19 for the introduction article. As stated, each email will provide discussion questions. Paul states that without the resurrection, our faith would be in vain, and we would still be lost. “… if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.” 1 Cor 15:17 This is a stark statement that should cause us pause. The Resurrection is critical to our faith, not only apologetically, but also for its deep implications. We will contemplate both over the fifty days and pray that He will imprint these truths deep into our hearts such that we might be filled with the awe and joy of those who first encountered the risen Lord. I invite you to join us for this important series. To sign up to receive a daily email that will include both a link to the day's article as well as discussion questions, click the button here: |

Soli Deo Gloria,
P.S. I am working on producing a book based on this Resurrection series. We'll have more information in the near future for those of you who would be interested to know more. |
