I received an invitation to do the Truth Project Leadership via an email quit some time ago. I watched all of the videos one rainy spring morning. After watching the full leadership video series I felt God leading me to purchase TTP for our church. I prayed about it and looked at my checking account-- it had just enough to cover the cost, but I felt God telling me that that is what He wanted me to do. So I said a little prayer, took a deep breath and spent my last $99 to buy TTP.

Then I open up Facebook on a whim a, place I spend very little time. I saw an old friend Joe had just posted that he was doing a long haul trip from Seattle to Florida. I messaged him so that maybe we could meet up since I hadn't seen him in about ten years. He got the message and was excited about meeting a couple two days later when he came through my area.

We met at a truck stop where he was refueling. While he was getting refueled, he suggested we get some lunch since his company gave him an expense account and, as he said, he couldn't eat enough to use it all. So I was happy to take on the burden of free food, and after a great lunch and catching up on old times, we headed back over to his truck.

Then the big surprise came when he told me that here was something he had been wanting to do for me for "all the help I given him years before when he was struggling". Then, he pulled out his check book and wrote me a check for $200. My jaw just about hit the ground. Remember Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take
