In Dr. Tackett's words:

This is Molly. She is sitting to the right of  Nancy in the middle table. Molly is simply the sweetest person you could ever meet. God has clearly put His hand upon her from the very beginning in Haiti. She may seem quiet, but behind that stillness is a brilliant mind and a deep heart for the Lord. If you want to have a better understanding of the true divine love of God, just spend some time with Molly.

Tour 3  Student Cameo, Molly

Molly (born Midland) was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to a single mother and an absent father, and after her mother became seriously ill and died, her aunt brought her to an orphanage because she couldn’t care for her. Around that same time, an American couple with a heart for Haiti had their adoption in the U.S. fall through and, devastated at Christmas, began pursuing adoption from Haiti instead. Molly’s orphanage caregiver, Gladys—whom Molly describes as a mother to countless orphans—connected the couple to Molly, and after seeing her photo they immediately knew she was the child they had been hoping for. Molly says this experience helped her understand agape love early, and she can’t remember a time when God wasn’t present in her life and calling her forward. She frames the Engagement Project as a calling to invest in people across neighborhoods and nations, moving beyond self-focus and “checklist” Christianity into genuine, intentional relationships.
