Engagement Project Training in Alaska

I am in Alaska for an Engagement Project Training Conference. We will be at the Change Point church in Anchorage. Would love to see you there.

I have felt compelled to begin meeting with pastors as much as possible. Upon arriving, Jason Maust, chief pilot for Arctic Barnabas (one of my favorite ministries) flew me to Kenai. We had a great meeting with pastors and ministry leaders and then the same back in Anchorage today. I am praying that pastors will begin to cast the vision to the families in their congregations that God has entrusted the primary work of the Kingdom to them. This is a vision that must be caught by the Body of Christ.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

Do not lose hope, dear Remnant! These are days of great opportunity.

Engagement Project Launch
We are rejoicing!  God was gracious to us yesterday at the Engagement Project launch in Colorado Springs. We filled the sanctuary of Village Seven Presbyterian Church (within the COVID restrictions) and there were 490 who joined us on the live stream. It was a joy for me to be able to meet so many who had been faithful in leading the Truth Project and were now excited to take this next step. They came from Florida and Georgia, Arizona and Wyoming and other parts in between. Those who were online were watching from New York to Alaska, Minnesota to Louisiana, and New Jersey to Alberta, Canada. Believe or not, we also had people participating in the live stream from Romania, the United Kingdom, South Africa and other countries.  God is so very good!  This is quite humbling to me and I can do nothing but thank our gracious Lord for all of this and those through whom He worked – all those who sacrificially gave so that we might meet what appeared to be an insurmountable budget; those who have labored tirelessly like the Truth Encounter Ministries Board; and those who have been faithful prayer warriors.  This is the culmination of over ten years of dreaming and hoping and waiting on the Lord, but when I held the DVDs in my hands, it finally sunk in that God had carried us to the finish line. However, it really isn’t the finish line because we are dedicated to the care and feeding of all of those that He will raise up to lead small groups in their home and to begin to engage the culture around them. We are going to do our very best to provide them with whatever resources we can to help them in their critical Kingdom work. We are also already thinking and planning for the final phase: the Restoration. May God put His hands on all of it. Soli Deo Gloria!

A New Chapter in The Truth Encounter
Greetings Everyone! I am writing to let you know about two very important updates for our Truth Encounter Community. As you know, it has been my vision to continue the biblical worldview work that God began in my life years ago, beginning with New Geneva Seminary, Summit Ministries, the Truth Project, Cross Examine, Who Is Jesus and other worldview teaching, including the new release February 23 of the film, “Is Genesis History”. Launching this site was a big step in our ongoing work. And now, we are taking another big step. Let me share the details. I'm very excited to announce that Marc Fey, who led The Truth Project team with me at Focus on the Family, has joined me full-time to help us realize the dream God laid on my heart in 1992. As the team leader, Marc was instrumental in developing and launching the project, including our work with Cold Water Media to produce the DVD content, develop website resources and conference trainings and manage our relationships with Truth Project leaders, partners, and key organizations. This is indeed a pivotal time for us, and I am thrilled to be reunited with Marc to build what we pray will be God's movement in the hearts and minds of His people--on His terms and for His glory. Second, with Marc's addition to our team, you should expect regular communication from Marc and me, updating you on our progress with The Engagement Project and The Restoration Project, the next two series to follow-up the worldview teaching we have done up to this point. After many years of stops and starts, it appears God is moving people and resources into place for us to resume in a more concentrated and strategic manner the work of The Truth Encounter. So, with me please welcome Marc back to the team. And more importantly, please consider renewing your prayer efforts for God's work through each of us, for we all have an important role to play in realizing this God-inspired vision-- a movement in and through God's people in our generation.
